Shima’s 10th Anniversary – Fashion show and party art direction, event AboutTo celebrate the 10th birthday of Shima Seiki Italia, we were commissioned to develop a concept for the anniversary party. Under the slogan “Shima Sounds of Machine”, Christian Fischer (“Playpad Circus”) was asked to develop a piece of music that references and uses the specific sounds of the Shima knitting machines.At Fabbrica Borroni in Milan, the Shima composition was performed with a string quartet to kick off a fashion show featuring four collections by noteworthy clients of Shima Seiki.
